September brought the first cool hints of fall to Texas, and we can’t wait for the season to officially begin! We had a busy month, but our team still made time to celebrate some major milestones for our company.
This month, we were thrilled to learn that we won the Best of Denton County award for the Best Financial Planning Firm. This is the third consecutive year in a row that we have won, and we are deeply humbled by the honor. We know that we would never have achieved this without our wonderful clients! Thank you to everyone who voted for us. Your confidence in our team means the world. All of our team members repeatedly mention that the reason they love what they do is because of the relationships built with you, our clients. We’re reminded of that more than ever when momentous occasions like this happen. We appreciate your continued trust in us, and we look forward to continuing to serve you in the years to come.
In the spirit of recognizing our clients, we hosted a client appreciation event at Riders Field. We enjoyed watching the Frisco Rough Riders play a great game, but the true highlight was the time we got to spend with our clients. We also celebrated Glen and Robert’s ten-year anniversary of working together this September. GDS would not be the company it is today without the dedicated leadership of our cofounders, and we are so grateful for all the hard work they’ve put in to create and maintain our team. From founding the company, building our new office, expanding our team, and hitting one billion dollars in assets under management, it has certainly been an eventful decade. We cannot wait to see how much we are able to accomplish in the next ten years!
