March has been an eventful, fun-filled month here at GDS! We kicked off the month with our annual client event. This year, the event was hosted at Circle R Ranch in Flower Mound. We were able to welcome more than four hundred valued clients, who spent the evening listening to live performances by the Warren Brothers, Natalie Hemby, and Shy Carter. There were also plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy: armadillo races, mechanical bull rides, and pictures with a live longhorn steer, to name a few.
In the days and weeks after the client event, our marketing team took time to carefully review client responses to the evening. We were very appreciative of everyone who took the time to reach out to one of our team members or complete our survey. Your responses allow us to better serve you, and it was our delight to read your kind comments about the event. We look forward to continuing to provide opportunities to give back to our clients – you are all the MVPs of our GDS team!
Speaking of our team, one of our favorite team-building traditions here at GDS is our book club. This month, we began Greg Harden’s Stay Sane in an Insane World. Harden is known for working closely with Michael Phelps, a 23-time Olympic gold medalist; Tom Brady, a 7-time Super Bowl champion quarterback; and Desmond Howard, a Super Bowl MVP and Heisman Trophy winner. In addition to his work with athletes, Harden has also given advice and direction to CEOs, coaching staff, doctors, lawyers, and professionals across numerous other industries. We hope to continue improving our efficiency by learning from the valuable insights Harden offers.
Our company has experienced exponential growth over the past few years – all thanks to our wonderful clients. We are on track to hit our goal of having one billion in assets under management within the next 30-60 days. This has been a longtime goal of ours, and we are very excited to achieve this milestone.
Over the course of the month, our clients have experienced several life-changing events across all ends of the spectrum. Some have celebrated weddings or anniversaries, while others have mourned the loss of a family member. As we go through life with our clients, we are vividly reminded that we are more than just financial advisers. The relationships we share with our clients are some of our most treasured, and we are so grateful to be able to play important parts in the lives of our clients.
Thank you all for your continued partnership with GDS. We are here to help you in any way we can, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office with any questions or concerns. You can call (469) 212-8072 or visit www.gdswealth.com to connect with us.
