Refuge for Women

The North Texas-based chapter of Refuge for Women is committed to providing faith-based care for women who are victims of human trafficking or sexual exploitation. The Refuge for Women team offers women specialized long-term housing and emergency housing at no cost. Their goal is to give women the trauma-informed programming they need to recover from these situations while equipping them to live a life of dignity and hope. Without a safe recovery home, more than 80% of trafficked or exploited women will end up living on the street.

GDS Wealth Management is proud to have partnered with Refuge for Women in 2024 by donating money to the North Texas chapter. This donation allowed Refuge for Women to provide their residents with 24/7 care, including counseling, medical treatment, and safe housing. Because of donations like this, Refuge for Women can continue providing women with the opportunities they need to heal and move forward.
